Patent MarketPlace: E-Cigarette Patents & Vaping Technology for Sale
Multi-Flavor E-Cigarette (Chan): U.S. Patent No. 9,888,721
It has become popular in recent years for e-cigarettes to be available in a variety of flavors. The most popular are apple, cherry, chocolate, honey, grape, menthol, mint, peach, strawberry, and rum. E-cigarette users have the advantage of not just a healthier smoking experience, but also the opportunity to enjoy vaping in different flavors by removing one cartridge and inserting a cartridge of a different flavor into the e-cigarette.
This patent takes that concept to the next level by creating an e-cigarette with a cartridge that is segregated into multiple cavities for multiple flavor cartridges. The e-cigarette user inserts his or her favorite flavor cartridges into the multi-cartridge e-cigarette, and then rotates the chambers to select a specific flavor. Honey in the morning, apple in the afternoon chocolate after dinner! All from the same e-cigarette.
The patent also covers a multi-chamber cartridge that contains different vaping options such as nicotine e-liquid, non-nicotine e-liquid, and/or cannabis oil. Or the ingredients in the patented multi-chamber cartridge could include propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, nicotine, water, or flavorings.
U.S. Patent No. 9,888,721 for an “E-cigarette with segregated cartridge for selective disbursement of liquid solution flavors” would be a strategic acquisition for any e-cigarette supplier. It would offer the acquirer of this patent the opportunity to bring a next-generation e-cigarette product to its customer base that will not just generate increased sales of the new e-cigarette concept, but also increase sales of flavor cartridges.
Germ-Free E-Cigarette (Shin): International Patent Portfolio
We all need to be careful what we put in our mouths, and that includes e-cigarettes. Unlike conventional cigarettes that are taken out of the package, used once, and then disposed, e-cigarettes are used over and over, and between uses they are put in pockets or laid on surfaces. Who knows what bacteria, germs, and other contaminants are on the tip of your e-cigarette when you get ready to use it again?
This portfolio addresses that issue by using a proven technology that has been around for years. It is common today for drinking water to be kept contaminant-free by bombarding the water with ultraviolet (UV) rays. The UV light kills any germs or bacteria in the water, but does so without chemicals, so it does not affect the taste of the water. This portfolio creates the next generation of e-cigarettes in which the case includes a UV light that kills any contaminants on the tip of the e-cigarette. And the cartridge is positioned so it is kept inside the housing to minimize exposure to any other contaminants.

E-Cigarette/Cell Phone Carrying/Charging Case (Gibson): U.S. Patent No. 10,966,463
Over five million Americans spent just over $6 billion on e-cigarettes in 2020, while world-wide sales of e-cigarettes was $17 billion over the same period. Smoking an e-cigarette – or “vaping” – has significantly different dynamics than smoking a traditional cigarette. An e-cigarette is an electronic device, so e-cigarette smokers have to deal with a battery. When the e-cigarette’s battery dies, it has to be removed and placed in a re-charger. And unless the e-cigarette user is carrying a spare battery, the e-cigarette cannot be smoked until its battery is re-charged and placed back in the e-cigarette. Not very convenient.
This patent addresses that issue by creating a case to hold both the smoker’s smart phone and his or her e-cigarette. While it is inserted in the case, the e-cigarette’s battery is constantly being charged, so the owner can smoke his or her e-cigarette at any time and does not have to deal with a dead battery. In fact, the e-smoker can enjoy his or her e-cigarette while it is still in the case because the cartridge plugs into the case and allows the user to continue to smoke while the battery charges. Additionally, the case can be configured to charge the smart phone! Now that’s convenient!
U.S. Patent No. 10,966,463 for an “Electronic cigarette phone case with battery” takes vaping to a new level of convenience. Storing an e-cigarette in a case with that person’s smart phone greatly reduces time spent looking for where his or her e-cigarette was left. The user’s e-cigarette is always available and always charged. This patent would be an excellent acquisition for any e-cigarette manufacturer or supplier of e-cigarette accessories.
